Before you can start your journey toward earning your certification, you first need to obtain a Student Membership to the Construction Management Institute, which is free. (Other memberships have an annual fee).
You will need to renew your certification every three years, which will require some continuing education credits, or you can choose to upgrade to Expert or Master by taking the relevant program.
